Technique Study Groups

We are trying something new for this year’s Programs!

What do you want to learn? Cross stitch, stumpwork, hardanger/drawn thread, whitework, boutis, needle painting, crewel, goldwork, surface & ribbon embroidery, canvaswork, blackwork, and create your own design? This year, we have it all!

We have curated a large collection of new needlework kits. There is a wide selection of surface and counted projects suitable for beginners to expert stitchers. Alternatively, you may join a Study Group with a project you already have.

Throughout the year, you will work on your kit in a Study Group with others using the same technique. There will be more socializing and getting more involved in your stitch learning by supporting each other.

Study groups will meet from 6:30 - 7:30 at our General Meetings on the 2nd Tuesdays of October, November, March, and April, plus optional extra time after the business meetings and at the Stitch Ins.

The fee for this special Program is 25% of the retail price of your kit. Regular prices are $20 - $140 (see photos), Programs prices are $5 - $35. Or bring your own kit - no fee.

Kits will be available to purchase ONLY in person at the September 8th General Meeting and at the September 13th Stitch In at the Studio (1-2pm).

Limit of ONE kit per person! Your 2026-27 Membership fee ($80) and the kit fee MUST be paid before you take your kit! NO EXCEPTIONS!
